Methodology

For each visualization we aim to capture:

• Sources — the specific datasets and publishers behind the numbers, with links and access dates.
• Methodology — the data basis, transformations, calculations, normalization, rounding, exclusions, and limitations.
• What it does not show — the conclusions the chart cannot support, so it isn't misread.
• Data — where possible, the underlying data to download and inspect.

Verification

Verification is a real editorial process, not an automatic label. A visualization is only marked as reviewed when an editor has checked its sources, calculations, and methodology. We never grant a trust badge just because links are present.
